The Village Star Music Studio, named after Kokhava [Hebrew: Star]  Ben-Haim, is run by the creative musician, composer and licensed music therapist Avihai Paz Greenwald.

Students may learn to play various musical instruments, including drums, guitar and organ, taught by professional instructors who visit the village twice a week. Avihai also helps bring out their latent skills as composers, encouraging them to write songs and sing them in public.

Some students even participate in various ensembles that perform on Parents’ Days and at other special events, in Beit Haggai and elsewhere. Music exerts a profoundly positive influence, as it provides each youngster with a means of expression and constitutes a significant part of the development and change that these young people undergo.
